MAILING ADDRESS SERVICES (WORLDWIDE).

Mailing Address Services or Mail drops are also known as letter boxes, mail box rentals, accommodation addresses, re-mail services and mail forwarding services. These services play an important role in protecting the privacy of clients. We arrange mailing addresses virtually anywhere in the world, these are usefull to suggest either that you are actually at that location personally or that your company is operating from there. At one time we produced a list, this now seems pointless because the list would be so large because we can now arrange addresses almost anywhere. Costs of mailing address services vary a great deal from one mailing address to another and from country to country. As a rough guide we have noted some maildrops with pricing information below although if you require an address elsewhere let us know because we have many more on file...

AFRICA

SOUTH AFRICA:

Notes: A tried and tested service with either a PO Box address or a street address if you are likely to receive courier deliveries. Benefits are that the address is well away from the EU or US and therefore is ideal for serious privacy seekers.

ZIMBABWE

HARARE:

Minimum deposit:(US$ 50 or �35 - included).
Postage and Forwarding Fees are deducted from the deposit.
Notes: Not recommended at the moment until things settle down due to the political instability and unreliable postal services.

ASIA

HONG KONG:
Standard service Includes:

Notes: A tried and tested service although rather costly but so far we have been unable to locate a low cost service in Hong Kong that offers an acceptable level of service.

JAPAN
Standard service Includes:

� personal phone numbers with answerphone message in any language as well as fax numbers are available at $275 or �195 per annum ($195 or �140 in subsequent years)
� Mail Forwarded Weekly Cost: US$ 625 or �445 per annum.
Minimum deposit:(US$ 50 or �35 - included).
Postage and Forwarding Fees are deducted from the deposit.
Notes: A choice of 5 address all with the benefit of up to date phone and fax facilities with various methods of receiving messages e.g re-faxing, sent as email attachments etc.

KOREA
Standard service Includes:

� Mail Forwarded Weekly Cost: US$ 625 or �445 per annum.
Minimum deposit:(US$ 50 or �35 - included).
Postage and Forwarding Fees are deducted from the deposit.
Notes: This service has only been recently added to our list but the 3 clients already introduced advise us it is proving very reliable.

PHILLIPINES
Standard service Includes:
� PO Box but no phone number & fax numbers are available although the maildrop will receive faxes at $1.50 per page�
Mail Forwarded Weekly Cost: US$ 300 or �215 per annum.
Minimum deposit:(US$ 50 or �35 - included).
Onetime set-up fee: US$50 (waived until 24 December 2001)
NOTES: Well established and reasonably priced.

SINGAPORE

We can arrange a huge number of mailing address facilities in the following countries, all offer similar basic services, although many provide additional services that are unique in one way or another. All of the addresses below are priced at �355 or US$ 455 per annum with a minimum deposit of �35 or US$ 50 included in the price.

USA AND CANADA

In the USA and Canada we have a vast selection of addresses and phone facilities which can fulfil virtually any requirements you may have, it is just a case of naming a city and we can usually arrange the required facility within 3 days and phone or fax numbers same day. The cost is normally US$ 455 or �355 per annum with a minimum deposit of US$ 50 or �35 included in the price. A few locations may be a little dearer if they are vary exclusive but over 95% are US$ 455 or �355 per annum.

THE USES FOR YOUR OFFSHORE ADDRESS.

The uses of an offshore address are endless, they can be used for normal business applications, as well as convincing people that you are somewhere other than where you actually are. In addition to receiving mail and forwarding it to you, many of the people who run our mailing addresses are happy for you to send them your letters, they will then put local stamps on and mail them back to your own country.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you send a letter from the UK or Europe to the US or Canada to be mailed back don't use A4 paper because in America they use a different size which is wider and shorter, the exact size is 8.5 x 11 inches, A4 is a dead give-away and any government official or investigator who is properly trained will know this way to catch someone out. If you need a ream of US size paper go to a paper specialist who will cut it to size, if the paper is watermarked choose an international type e.g. Zeta. Finally the envelopes, if you cannot get plain envelopes let us know and we can arrange for some to be sent from another country. The main thing to remember is that if you live in the UK but want to appear to be in America the envelope doesn't have to be American but it must not be British e.g. Basildon Bond or Conqueror, so German or French envelopes are perfectly OK although American is ideal.

Other uses of foreign addresses are to set up bank accounts for privacy, register driving licences and vehicles, deflect debt collectors, confuse ex partners, receive parcels, which you wish to collect when you are there. In summary the advantages of a commercial mailing address over a PO Box are set out below.

1/ You have the choice in some locations of a street address or a box number both have advantages and disadvantages although a street address often looks more prestigious and is better for receiving mail from couriers.

2/ It is possible to phone up and check as to whether mail has been received, or sometimes even to ask the owner of the address to open letters and bank cheques etc. We can advise as to how mail can be easily separated to differentiate enquiries from cheques or urgent and non urgent mail.

3/ Mailing addresses will accept parcels from couriers e.g. Fed Ex, UPS etc the Post Office will not.

4/ Mailing addresses forward mail to where ever you want it to go and don't mind changes of forwarding address, whereas in some countries the Post Office will not forward out of the area.

5/ The Post Office in most countries e.g UK, USA etc will give out the address linked to a PO Box on request, but a good mailing address is highly confidential. All those we recommend are screened and checked by ourselves.

6/ The mailing address usually offers other services, such as receiving faxes, taking phone calls, accepting hand delivered items from clients, opening parcels and advise regarding contents.

7/ Mailing addresses are generally seen as a 'dead end' by snoopers and investigators and if the address is arranged with security in mind at the beginning, the mail drop operator would not be able to assist even if they wanted to.

8/ Mailing addresses can be used as a safe keeping point if they provide a lockable box, all you do is put a locked pouch in the box with instructions on it not to forward (assuming you have forwarding service) just say it is for your wife or business colleague to collect if he/she is in town, you can always say it has some keys or a bit of spending money in it.

WHEN A SIMPLE MAILING ADDRESS IS NOT ENOUGH.

Finally, we come to an area that is rather specialised. It is a course to take if you are worried that even a confidential mailing address may not be secure enough. If you are in this position we can set up a customised structure that is totally impenetrable. This is an area in which we specialise and so far, when clients have requested a maximum-security structure, not one has ever been penetrated.

Please note that we arrange this facility to assist you to avoid whatever adverse situation may come your way but not to facilitate crime.

Level 1.
Low Security. Personal mail (non compromising)- No serious financial problems- Not trying to avoid anyone - address required simply for job applications - required because you are away and you need a place that will hold letters and packets - you live abroad and need a UK address: Price from �150 to �350 ($210 to $490).

Level 2.
Medium Security. You are having a relationship that needs to be kept discreet - You need business correspondence that cannot easily be connected directly to you - You need to receive highly sensitive personal documents - You want to keep your banks and credit card companies at arms length - You need to introduce an apparent competitor into the business sector in which you operate - You need to avoid routine press enquiries - You wish to avoid an ex wife/Husband who is determined to find you - You need to receive accounts and bills in total confidence - You live abroad but wish your banks and clients o believe you are still in the UK or your country of residence. Price from �295 to �550 ($415 to $775).

Level 3.
High Security. You are being pursued by Private Investigators etc - You have received threats - You have suffered serious financial problems and need time to sort them out - Your business requires extreme confidentiality - You wish to operate in an area of business where you are known, but where if it is discovered you will suffer severe problems - you wish to launch a court case but do not want a risk of the opponent retaliating in the run up - You are dealing with a newspaper story or investigative reporters. Price from �450 to �800 ($625 to $1125) although this one varies greatly depending on the extremity of the situation.
